How We’re Working To Reduce Our Impact

At Rawson Solar we are always looking for ways in which we can reduce our impact on the environment and how we can help our local community to think about their environmental impact. Since 2021 we have helped thousands of businesses and individuals adopt renewable technology such as EV chargers and solar panels.

Solar Panels

At Rawson Solar, we’re helping to make the switch to solar easy, helping homeowners and businesses understand solar energy and providing them with the confidence to make the switch to a greener future. Last year we installed over 6 megawatts of solar photovoltaic panels across the region. These are capable of generating over 5 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy each year. While offsetting around 1.2 million kilograms of CO2 each year, the equivalent of planting more than 40,000 trees annually.

EV Chargers

Over the last year, we have installed hundreds of EV chargers for both businesses and homeowners. Providing our customers with the freedom to charge their EVs at their convenience. While helping to add to the electric charger infrastructure. Switching from an ICE to an electric vehicle not only reduces your running costs but also your environmental impact by reducing carbon emissions.

Our commitment to sustainability

At our office in Wrexham, we have shifted our fleet vehicles to green power. On site we have installed three EV chargers. 2 x 7kW and one 40kW fast charger perfect when you’re short on time. Our EV chargers are not just for our staff we have made them accessible to the local community by setting them up as public chargers. This is now providing an essential resource for electric vehicles on the Wrexham industrial estate. Having an electric fleet and EV chargers on site we encourage employees with ICEs to utilise these EVs during work time helping to reduce our carbon footprint, while reducing the environmental impact we are having on our local community.
